Mengo Industrial Hub

This is a Presidential Initiative geared towards skilling of the youth and industrialization of the economy. 22 zonal industrial hubs, targeting skilling of both the literate and illiterate youth, value addition and promotion of common user facilities have been established in Uganda

Mpigi District Local Government is clustered with 10 other Districts namely; Kayunga, Wakiso, Mukono, Nakasongola, Luwero, Buikwe, Buvuma, Gomba, Butambala & Nakaseke to form the Mengo Zonal Industrial Hub 

Requirements for industrial hub learners 

•  Personal clothes
• Mosquito net
• Towel
• Washing /bathing soap 5 bars /omo 
• Toothpaste and tooth brush
• Basin/bucket
• Vaseline
• Masks
• Spoon/fork
• Sports shoes
• Plate and cup
• Toilet paper (a dozen)
• Bathing sponge
• A 10 ltr jerry can
• 1 plastic bottle for drinking water
