Goal
Promote good governance as basis for transformation of lives of Mpigi residents from peasantry society to middle income.
Main Objective
Strengthening the role of the District leadership in guiding and facilitating development through increasing effectiveness and efficiency of the public sector's response to the needs of citizens and the private sector in Mpigi.

Plans for FY 2026/2027
First Quarter:
- Hold District Council meeting
- Conduct three (3) District Executive Committee meetings
- Convene two (2) Standing Committees to discuss and pass Departmental work plans and annual budget
- Conduct two (2) LGPAC meetings to discuss Internal Audit reports for quarters 2ndand 3rd FY: 2024/2025.
- Facilitate District Executive Committee members with fuel for monitoring of Government Programmes
- Pay District Councilors monthly gratuity and sitting allowances
- Support two (2) field visits by LGPAC for verification purposes and ensure value for money
- Council approval of Area Land Committee members and District Land Board members
Second Quarter
- Hold more two council meeting
- Convene 2 standing committee meetings.
- Facilitate DEC with fuel for field monitoring and other official duties.
- Convene LGPAC meetings to handle Audit reports
- Carry out one field visit for LGPAC members.
- Produce and submit quarterly LGPAC reports to relevant offices.
- Hold DSC meeting for staff confirmation, promotion and regularization
